New release for Sweet Finale to a Lifetime of Quick Transmigrations. Whew! What a mouthful! I’m still working out how to schedule releases as I am still seeing how everything fits in my life. It’s the weekend now so I had some time to translate another chapter. I was also eager to read further into the story.
This chapter really makes me like this heroine! Su Nuo really showcases another flash of brilliance for her protagonist halo! All the novel summaries always talk about a strong female protagonist but many times, the main lead comes across a bit bratty and rude or very stuck up and passive. I trusted Fuyuneko’s recommendation and the description interested me a lot. I was happy to read Fuyuneko Group’s translation but then I found out it was only a teaser… Hence, I decided to translate it! I have more to say after the chapter is over, I also briefly translated the author’s note for this chapter.

In regards to Geely, I thought it was just a random machine translation error when to my surprise, I discovered it was a legitimate brand! It’s a domestic Chinese brand. They apparently also own Volvo now!!!
Also, currency conversion at the time of this writing is about 7 RMB to 1 USD, so 5k RMB price tag is about $700+, which sounds about right for Apple. A gaming laptop that costs minimum 100k RMB, would be at least $14k USD… I’m sure there are some laptops like that though that’s outside my sphere of comprehension. That would also mean that 80k compensation for the job is about $11k USD, that sounds pretty decent to me for a few days work but according to the novel, it isn’t…
Also, it seems like Su Nuo disappeared when she was a little younger than my daughter. I can only imagine the guilt and distress of her parents when they discovered her missing. I can’t really imagine a society that pushes such favoritism over boys to the point of purposeful abandonment. It really angers me. I can also understand Yuan Guohong’s complicated feelings because the perpetrator was his own mother.
But due to Su Nuo’s disappearance, I’m sure that’s partly why the twins became so spoiled and despotic. It’s a bit interesting in terms of the character psychology.

I understand where Su Nuo is coming from but dear, shouldn’t you atleast give the parents a chance? 😢 (tho I know they will reconcile later on but still)
