Thank you all for your very kind comments and support! I’m having a lot of fun reading and translating this book. I am churning out chapters much faster than I thought. Maybe this author is writing in a way that’s easier to read? I feel like if I were translating a palace drama book or whatever, I would be taking forever. I also don’t like splitting up chapters and these chapters don’t seem that long so far. As a reader, I dislike it since I would want to read the chapter in its entirety!

Anyway, at this rate, I will need to look for another story to translate!

Can’t help but think that Shen Wang knows that Su Nuo took the job somehow, like he connected the dots and is secretly happy to hear that. I think he is like a tsundere/yandere or whatever. One of those stupid boys that like teasing the girl they like to the point of cruelty. Truly a scumbag!

My lovely husband also took the trouble researching for me that the fan belt is connected to the alternator (which is connected to the battery) and water pump (responsible for cooling the engine), which is why if it’s broken, the car breaks down. I had already waved off my husband once I found out what directly translated to water temperature was really for the engine due to the water pump connection. Yet he forged on ahead to watch the whole Youtube video to find out. Lol.

I’m not sure if I translated the handyman thing right but from my research, that seems to be the meaning. Just not quite certain why it would be mocking.

I like how due to the author’s bias, the scumbag male lead really does wind up slapping his own face in the next scene! Indeed refreshing!! Puhaha!

BTW, most of the time when I translate as messaging, it’s actually WeChat. WeChat is like Facebook Messenger or iMessages or Whatsapp but its so ubiquitous that everyone in China uses it. A billion users! Everything is hooked up to WeChat and it performs a wide range of functions besides just messaging.

I also like that Su Nuo may be very capable and what not but it’s emphasized that her general excellence was earned through 8 years of hard work transmigration. A lot of C-novel plots always have the heroine come out fully formed and wit h super OP abilities. There’s not much character development.
