I was very amused by this chapter but I was also a bit sad to hear about Su Nuo’s past.
I’ve been catching up on my backlog of reading from Novel Updates. I gotta say, I hate it when you are forced to click through ad links to read. It doesn’t work well for me at all. I get why but I don’t like the idea of not being given a choice. Invariably, whenever I try, it also tries to force me download some crap to my computer, which is a big No No!
It does not sit right with me, I don’t think anyone would like the idea of being coerced. Voluntarily choosing to click ads is one thing but I don’t like that whole feeling of the translator holding the chapter hostage because of money. It really makes me want to quit those novels with that type of mentality.
Anyway, please enjoy the chapter! I have to try and translate more if I have time. Again, my goal is once a week when I’ve really been doing it like 2-3 times/week. Thank you everyone for all your support and comments! Much appreciated!

The editor said that the dodder flower does not conform to the three views and cannot be used anymore. It can only be changed by _ (: з ”∠) _. (TL: dodder flower is cuscuta chinensis, parasitic plant that Shen Wang describes Su Nuo as, three views reference world view, life view and moral view. Hahhaha, I guess this is a thing in China? America, it’s generally understood that usually the boys are circumcised as newborns unless you object to it or what not. My son was circumcised after he was born and it felt like it was a matter of course to have it done. I know though that recently, more new parents are questioning the medical necessity of this procedure.
I guess most Asian countries don’t circumcise at all? I wonder why the twins want to have it done. Like, if it was so positively viewed to have it done, why not complete it directly after birth?

Also, thank you for your stance on ads! I don’t really mind an ad or two to support the translator, but especially when reading on my phone without Wifi they can get incredibly frustrating. There are a few translation sites that are particularly bad, where the chapters are split into shorter parts and each part has a bunch of video/popup ads… it loads so slowly and is so difficult to scroll through, plus my heart hurts for all the data. I’ve dropped a lot of otherwise okay novels due to that.

In Western European countries, this is not a common practice either. At least not for the white Christian population. But I’ve heard of circumcised men that did it in their adulthood because of infection. So the cure aspect might be coming from that.

Really? I got a complaint that CH 2 & 3 fonts were too small, so I made the fonts after that all bigger… I’m a bit confused…

The font size of your notes were readable, and when I scroll down to read the chapter it so small that i have to zoom and squint my eyes

I’m from Asia and though unlike in America where newborn boys are immediately circumcised like what you just said, boys here in our country (PH) are mostly- though not all are cut atleast before they become 10 year olds or something?(not sure in other provinces but here in ours it is)
Anyway, I just realized the twins are cute! Hahahahahaha I was thinking they’re doing *that* illegal thing but guess not haha

Hello regarding circumcision except in the Jewish community where it is part of the religious practices in Europe most boys don’t get circumcised except when their medical condition required him to excise to develop normally.
A lot of the reason why circumcision has been developed in America and is becoming popular again is for aesthetic purposes with the development of adult movies that show circumcise men and promote that image as the “normal” way it should look. They are still debates in the medical community whether there is really a benefit for health since there aren’t that much impact on STDs and a very minor percent of the male population really needs a circumcision to function properly also there are issues about sensitivity because the foreskin containers that will always get damaged by this procedure
